hello everyone!!!! i just have a small query about a cc3d function.So i recently started doing flips in rattitude mode.My rates are 550 degrees per second for pitch and rolls.I recently came across ASWA.the always stable when armed function.It looks really to be a very helpfull function.However i have cruise control enabled and thus my motors will stop when the quad banks past 95 degrees to ensure a quicker flip.However the ASWA function means that the quad is stable througout even at minimal throttle.Thus theese 2 functions would have opposite behaviours right?One would want the motors to stop and the other would make the motors still run.Therfore should i be using only one of the functions or can both functions be used together?Thanks :) :)

You can use both together. When the cruise control cuts throttle, it cuts it to how low the aswa setting is. I was leary at first about using it but ever since i started using it i love it. I copied my flight mode switch channel to activate aswa. It tells you how to do that on the wiki page for the aswa. So the first mode i take off and land and i use it for a panic button  and then the next mode i like to fly in. Then mode three i leave for experimenting different pids different flight modes ect..

Thanks sooo much I really appreciate the help.also just another question in the aswa mode is there a way to set the speed of the motors or is it pre programmed?

I assuming you're talking about  the speed of the Motors when you arm the multirotor in aswa. That would be your nutral settings on the output page for the motors. They should be set as low as possible without any studdering. The motors should all be smooth when the motors start up. they all should be set reasonably close to each other .  + Or - 5 to 10 points

When inverted, CruiseControl has the same effect as reducing the throttle to 5% (default).

CC reducing the throttle (when inverted) does NOT reduce the control or stabilization that is available.  If the FC sees that it needs (control or stabilization) e.g. to roll left really hard, it has the authority to run the right side motors at 100% and the left side motors at idle if it wants to.

For ESCs that don't have an accurate external oscillator, heat does change the timing so that it reads the command pulses a little differently.  The result is that the idle speed pulse width that you calibrated with the ESCs cool (say 1065) actually allows the motors to completely stop.  Adding 10 to 20 to the number you got when calibrating cool ESCs will make sure they still spin the motors when the ESCs are warm.

Ok now I get it.my confusion is cleared.thank you guys soooooooo much!!!!!! :) now I can try fly without being worried.u guys and librepilot are the best!!!:)thanks sooo much for the fast and extremely helpful and accurate answers:)
