CC3D one shot
« on: May 18, 2016, 09:47:38 am »
I have a question, I burned my revo (radio part, oplink) now I need to use a Hobbyking 6 channels PWM receiver for the moment and I also use it on my CC3d, then a curious question, is it possible to use one shot with it? I see in hardware you have the option PWN + no oneshot but If I go to the motors tab later I can change it to oneshot anyway, would it work? thank you for the help mates.

CC3D do not support Oneshot output using PWM input.

You can set the output as Oneshot but only get an alarm.

Correct I get the alarm, but my escs really get into oneshot, I know cause I use the kingkong it jitters wen oneshot activated, the problem is that the software locks my throttle control. I tested it just yesterday. I wish I could use the oneshot and pwm, it would make my life easier! thank you anyway

If oneShot is not allowed using PWM at same time, there is a reason. You are warned.

I too use CC3D with oneshot capable ESCs and a Walkera Devo 7 and PWM receiver...my FPVflys great.  However,  I want to switch to a PPM receiver but I believe i need to also get a different transmitter other than the Devo 7.  Can anyone suggest an inexpensive transmitter and receiver combo for PPM.

Get a Taranis and D4r or x4r-sb. D4r is ppm and x4r is sbus. I've got 4 up flying in quads. All work flawless and sbus is easy and simple.  200$-240$. It is a great value. Love mine.

I didn't have PPM on my reciever either so I got these to run oneshot on my CC3D and revo nano.

Thanks i now have three options... the taranis w dr4, the pwm to ppm encoder, and i believe the rx703.
Im thinking i will try the rx703 first, then the encoder, and last buying the taranis w dr4.
Anyone else use a Walkera Devo 7 with a rx703 PPM receiver?

If you are on the small budget side, then try Flysky / Turnigy i6 with ia6b-Receiver. The ia6b receiver is PPM capable and you get the complete set for about 50$. The ia6-Receiver is pwm only, so choose the set with ia6b or get one extra. Turnigy is a Hobbyking-Brand, Flysky is the manufacturer.

I have a flysky fs-i6 with the ia6b receiver, I have 10 channels with an arduino pro mini and i-bus. :)

You could always purchase a replacement RF module and replace the one you burned out.
