Running Librepilot 15.09
I have a cc3d attached to a Spektrum ar600 configuring it as a wing.
I have everything set and 'Always armed'.
It will not start
on screens and in the variables listings there are good numbers for my PWM's but on the output screen, throttle output channel is not selectable and it's min,max and mid PWMs are all 1000.
I can find no indications that I am in a failsafe mode. The flight control screen is all green and all buttons indicate OK.
What am I missing?

Hi, welcome.

Maybe you use a template at wizard end...
Those templates are outdated and still use the old output 3 (if i remember right) for motor.

New motor mapping uses output4:
- go to the Vehicle tab and check the output used for motor (channel 4)
- Save

Reboot the board and verify where is the motor in Output tab, be sure the motor is physically connected to output 4

Yes it is output 4. But it is not selectable to test or edit.

If all three are set to 1000 you can't do much with it.   Try typing in a max value like 2000 and then a mid value of say 1050.  The sliders don't work if all three are the same.

Yes, values still at output4 but output3 is active.
So :
- go to the Vehicle tab and check the output used for motor (channel 4)
- Save

Reboot, go back to the output tab

After the wizard end if you choose a template (Mako or Toro) you got this, the active line is set to output 3 but values and label to output 4
The red handle refers to active output.



Now Vehicle tab and Save:



Output4, as expected and values are fine and Red handle on the right place.

I'm away from the vehicle and set-up right now. Looking at your screen shots it seems that you can select the throttle channel while I can't. But when I can I will use the sequence you gave me to try.

Today back to the Wing. Doing partial saves rather than a single save at the end of the two wizard steps did the trick.
