Issues about CC3D connects to Windows-XP
« on: April 09, 2016, 05:50:24 am »
Hi, all
I have a cc3d FC, the firmware version is OP-15.02.02.
Recently, I found some issues about connection. The FC can connect to Ubuntu 15.04 and Win7 successfully, but the Windows XP was abnormal, sometimes the connection was success while sometimes it's failed.
My XP system is clean, I think I have some error configurations in my FC, so I "upgrade", "erase and upgrad", "rescue", "erase the settings"...but I can not fix it finally.
I searched in the LP forum, and saw this artical :
https://forum.librepilot.org/index.php?topic=683.msg5034#msg5034
There is a special firmware to rescue the REVO board, is there the firmware for CC3D please?
Or could you help me to fix the issues, please?

Best Regards!

... and Win7 successfully, but the Windows XP was abnormal, sometimes the connection was success while sometimes it's failed.

With win 7, whether I plug in USB first and then turn on LP, or turn on LP and then plug in USB, about 2/3 of the time it fails. Replug USB and never fails on second try. As long as Save ALWAYS work I don't care about anything else.

Minor detail is to try different USB ports, and try another PC.

It's the 'sometimes' things that're essentially impossible to troubleshoot. All we've got is whatever Bill thinks is best for us at the moment. ;) Beyond that as long as it eventually works don't sweat the small stuff.
