Hello libra pilot, just a heads up the servo mixing is wrong for flyingwing, after doing the wizards the pitch and roll is mixed up pitch became roll and roll, pitch. So forward pitch on the TX makes the servo elevons do the roll.
The only way I found to stop this was going into systems and changing the mixer 1 vector roll 127 to -127 and pitch -127 to 127
The TX taranis x8r connected by sbus
Model on tx is setup as a plane
FC is a original OP revo
Servos Hitec mg

Strange, mixing values are just fine here.
Maybe you miss the step where you adjust min/max values and you need to check if the aileron movement (Up / Down arrow) matches your physical aileron movement.
If do not matches, you need to check the reverse checkbox.

It weird because it happens in open pilot gcs too, in librapilot gcs I did all wizards 3 times after each go I would erase and upgrade the board and start from fresh.
I'm using a old xp laptop

Your issue is not related to OS.
During wizard, when you set min/max the picture shows a green arrow Up or down.
Did you check that ?

You need to check your Taranis settings.
You can set up the standard 1~4 channels in any order.
AETR is typical standard but your description sounds like you have it set up as EATR :o
I think you will find this in the model settings first page or perhaps the Taranis settings page.
Also whilst on the topic of the Taranis and SBUS, you should be aware that it puts out hot levels on the X8R (SBUS).
By that I mean when compared to my Futaba 10C paired with an FrSky TFR8 (SBUS) the Taranis/X8R combo at full throw seems to go way past 100%.
I discovered this by a different FC I use treating this as an illegal signal and forcing a RTH event. To fix it I had to dial ch1~4 sticks back to about 88%.
Just something to be aware of ;)

Hello brentky,
The difference between Futaba and Frsky is normal.
Futaba :
neutral = 1520us
max = 1940us (+420us)
min = 1100us (-420us)
Frsky :
neutral = 1500us
max = 2012us (+512us)
min = 988us (-512us)
JR & Walkera :
neutral = 1500us
max = 1900us (+400us)
min = 1100us (-400us)
So switching Tx from one to another, you need to reconfigure your neutral point and end point.
