Title: What does UAVObject stand for?

What is the full meaning of the UAVObject(s), i.e. what does UAV stand for? Is it similar to Mavlink (Micro Air Vehicle Link protocol)?

UAV is Unmanned Air Vehicle.  It's my understanding that UAV Object is essentially a message that is passed in the UAVTalk protocol.  Yes it is similar to MAVLink but I don't believe there is any compatibility between the two.
