Title: DC motor out/ CC3DAtom
Post by: JoczóZolg on February 22, 2016, 10:27:07 am
Dear Guys!

question #1:
I'd like to build a micro quad or hexacopter with my Atom board,
(with some FETs and 7mm DC motors)
is it possible to tune the output pwm to higher frequencies and to 0 to 100% range?

question#2:
I saw that we can set te Settings/ActuatorSettings/ChannelType from PWM to "Arming LED" or
"Info LED"
but these settings not really works, I cant find any info about these. It would be nice to have some
additional LEDs, couse I cant see the onboard LEDs from a distance

1 - probably possible.  would need a dev to step up and do it (generally means wants to do it for himself :) ).
2 - that is for WS2811 style "smart" LEDs.  it works.  I have used it.

Instructions for using WS2811 LEDs are at https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Setup+WS281x+Led

But I think they only work on revo class flight controllers and not on a cc3d.
