Title: Problems with EMAX 12A ESC Simon Series
Post by: tpo88 on February 21, 2016, 04:45:38 pm
Hi everybody! I'm new here.

I have real problems with Problems with EMAX 12A ESC Simon Series, I tried to solve it but I can't.

Starting the drone, 3 of 4 engines works great, but just one, the number 2, just doesn't. I changed the channel, I changed the pins, the cable, the engine and the ESC (at the same time, it was a combo pack) I check and double check LibrePilot configuration, I reinstal CC3D firmware, I also tried CleanFlight... and... I don't know, nothing works.

Thats a video: https://youtu.be/5lyrLmKCOAA (https://youtu.be/5lyrLmKCOAA)

Hi, welcome.

Looks like a hardware issue, be sure you don't do a short with one screw or damaged copper wire on motor2.

Do you know you may need to remove props ?
Your video clearly show a not safe way for testing...

hahahahah

I know I know, was a bad "ending test"

But the weird thing is that with propeller (of any type; I tried with: carbon, plastic, 5x3, 5x4, 5x4,5 and 6x4,5) doesn't work at all (well, you can see the video) and without, the motor#2 work like any other, no strange sound and no strange acceleration. Completely normal.
