Title: New Member, needs help
Post by: rmsingh256 on February 15, 2016, 10:00:44 pm
Hi all,
I'm a new member and is seeking some assistance.
I have an Eachine 250 Racer and have decided to move to Librepilot from OpenPilot.
I'm having an issue when using LP GCS to configure the CC3D FC.
I can flash the firmware (bu_cc3d.opfw) using the rescue method via USB, but GCS will not show the FC at all in the drop down list whenever I try to 'Upgrade' using the Vehicle Setup Wizard.
See attached screen shots. I appreciate any help.

Hi, welcome.

Try reinstalling windows driver ?

Thanks for your help. I tried but it did not work.
I followed the steps and Windows 10 detected the FC as 'Copter Control' and installed the driver. However LP GCS is still timing out when trying to upgrade.
Any other suggestions?

I don't think so. Green LED is solid, Blue LED is blinking once per sec.

If fading in/out slowly you need to flash firmware.

- Disconnect board
- Hit Upgrade&Erase button
- Connect board
- Wait until the board remain connected (maybe 30seconds after flashing finished)

The normal firmware (Connect board and next Upgrade&Erase button) update works only if a firmware is already running and board connected.

After a bootloader update the only way to update firwmare is hit Upgrade&Erase button before connecting board.
