I have two boxes full of parts in my boneyard . Mainly HiSky and Spektrum stuff . I told one of the neighbor kids I'd build him a park flyer quad if I had most of the parts and didn't have to buy too much to get it into the air .
My question is this :
Will an XY7000S receiver work on a CC3D or Revo ?
I'll be using 3s 11.1v and I know the XY7000S are rated around 5 V . Does that matter ? Isn't the CC3D or Revo receiver output around 5 V to begin with ?
Thanks,

You may need to power the board via the Output servo connector, generally the +5v is provided by the BEC from one Esc.
In others setup, the +5v comes from a stepdown / regulator.
But never power directly the board with a 3S battery or your connected receiver got also 12.6V at full charge !

Thanks f5soh .
I'll buy a couple 12v to 5v regulators, ( dist. boards ) . If I have to do any filtering I'll use the 3.7v contact point described in the Spektrum DSM2/DSMX set-up pages in the Wiki. I won't be using a satellite receiver , just a XY7000S only , so I hope I can just plug in and configure .

If a DSM sat directly connected to board: need a small adapter or wire to sbl pad for 3.3v
If normal receiver, no issue with +5v, some receivers allow higher voltages also.
