Title: Help! Question on GCS System=>Data Tab

What do the flashing red/orange bars in the Data tab window mean? Does it mean the associated parameter is in alarm or that it is receiving data?

Do you mean the "System tab" > UavoBrowser ?

Orange background blinking depends on Metadata > update period value.
To show metadata, click the Eye's icon and check the "Show MetaData"

It blinks orange every time it receives that particular data.  You can change how often the data gets sent (but don't do it unless you have a real reason because then you may have to increase OpLink baud rate.
