Title: OSD "Failed to talk to Bootloader"
Post by: 38_Lightening on January 11, 2016, 12:27:26 am
I'm trying to flash a Mavlink MinimOsd I got from GLB, per Laurent's procedure in the wiki. Had a problem downloading the character set but tried the old "press the reset button" and voila! Next the .Hex file and I keep getting "Failed to talk to Bootloader"??
The reset button's not helping. I also get a "remapping the eprom" message, but still no talkie to Bootloader. A net search shows I'm not the lone ranger and the only solution I've seen is buy an asp programmer and change the Bootloader. I don't have 12vdc to the board but I don't think that's the issue. Anyone have another workaround /fix for me????.....HELP

Did you put a wire between DTR <---> GRN ?

DTR pin is needed for programming firmware Hex.

Yeah, that was it!....Thanks so much
I sort of glazed over connection diagram in the wiki, because I'm so used to seeing the standard 4. It will be a week or so till I have a camera and know if it works... but right now it's cooking with gas!!!
