Title: Rssi as channel input
Post by: hawkview on December 26, 2015, 06:53:20 pm
Is it possible to get revo to understand a rssi input from the sbus channel, naze32 with cleanfight will if you, through on input channel the rssi using a taranis to send as a input than in software of clean fight tell it that the channel is the rssi, this way you can display rssi in gcs and on a mimnosd
Can it be done? In librepilot?

Rssi data is not retrieved, but there is a "receiver quality" percentage based on frames received.
Displayed in Gcs > left panel or used with MinOPOSD.

Thank you good to know, what if you set your fail safe on the rx to output a channel eg turn rth on would this give the receiver quality a false reading?
If so which would be a good way to set a fail safe?
My setup is original revo from the first release with GPS v8 and minoposd.

Just set a failsafe state with your receiver.
If you are using a receiver like X4R, select the flightmode position where you configured RTH in your radio and hit briefly the Rx button.
