Title: CC3D does not save the setting.
Post by: albertferraz on January 08, 2019, 03:09:19 pm
Hello everyone. I'm turning to the forum experts, so I have problems with the configuration change in my CC3D.
I can update firmware without problems, but, configuration does not.
I posted some pictures to see someone can help me.

Go to Firmware page.   Does it say "BL Version: 3" or "BL Version: 4"?  If 3 then you need to update your bootloader.  After that you MUST reflash firmwareusing Manual method (instructions on same page):
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/LPDOC/pages/5669026/Firmware+Tab#FirmwareTab-Updatebootloader

Else you must Erase Settings.  Try this:
- unplug board (no USB or power)
- go to Firmware and press Rescue
- plug board in to USB
- press Erase Settings and follow the instructions to Press OK
- wait for at least a minute after pressing OK (FlightTime will start counting again and let it count up to at least 60)

Here is a thread where other users had a similar problem and @f5soh posted special firmware to try to help.

Please post back here to let us know what fixed it.  I have seen this problem a lot lately and don't know if problem was fixed or user just gave up.

Cliff, thanks for the help. I'm with "BL V4". I tried these procedures described in the topic that you indicated, but, it does not work.
Is it an irreversible problem?

Did you reflash firmware after doing BL and before the Erase Settings procedure?

Hello Cliff. I did a different procedure through the CF that returned the functionality of the board.
I will register with pictures and send later.
