Hi! I'm a complete beginner and i can't configure my CC3D. I plug the usb on the computer and the micro usb on the FC, a grenn led turn on and a blue led is flashing all time (everything looks fine till that point). But when i go and click the wizard setup button it appears a message that says that i have to connect he FC via usb when it's already done!! I don't know how can i solve that. I think that could be that i'm not recieving the Rx, the Tx looks fine. My reiver and my transmitter are correctly binded so I don't know how i can fix this problem. I post n Image about what I have , please help me it's so important.

Hi, welcome.
Take a look here:
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/LPDOC/pages/12812343/Troubleshooting
-
I’ve done that 2 times and it doesn’t work. I tried in two diferents computers and nothing
-
If the issue occurs in two different computers you can assume there is a hardware problem with FC or USB cable.
-
But it has to be a solution all looks fine but it's only that i don't recieve de Rx. Any suggestions pls?
-
In screenshot you posted, the port used is Serial, should be displaying something like "USB:Coptercontrol".
Can you post a picture with your CC3D ?
-
Hi! thanks i notticed that but i don't know why!! I made a video for you to show how everything works and what the problem if you could send me your email would be great because i can't post such a big video. Thank you!
-
I post an image for you about what yo asked.

A CC3D, after a Upgrade&Erase do not use the serial as default.
Connecting the FC using serial result as a a Tx bar and no Rx (no response), as expected.
A picture of your CC3D ?
-
Sorry i dont uderstand what your saying. I haven’t done any upgrade and erase the cc3d is new. And what are does serial mean? Thanks
-
Serial is not used, except in special cases.
You may have a CC3D connected as "USB: Coptercontrol".
Can you post a picture where i can see your CC3D ?
-
Well i dont have any cc3d connected as usb coptercontrol only COM4 how can i change that. I post some fotos for you.
-
i post for you
-
another one

Look like a CC3D, but modified from original design.
Reset GCS settings (you should find a link in Programs > Librepilot)
In Firmware tab, try a manual Upgrade&Erase :
- Disconnect board
- Hit Upgrade&Erase button
- Connect board
-
Ok but how can i have the connection usb: coptercontrol, when i plug the cc3d i only have the COM4. Ans thanks a lot for helping i will try that and then i tell you
-
I’ve done it and no joy. I’m stucked the problem it’s that the cc3d appears like serial i don’t know how to change that. Pls any suggestion?
-
I’ve done it and no joy.
Please elaborate.
- Is the the Upgrade&Erase successful ? I mean, do you see at least a firmware upload displayed with a progress bar ?
- Did you reset GCS settings to defaults ?
-
The main problem is that when i try to update and erase GCS says that i have to connect the board when it’s already connected. So i can’t upgrade nothing because GCS says that i have to connect it ehen it’s already done. I know it’s connected because when i plug the usb the led of the cc3d turns on and i’m recieving the Tx bar. I don’t know what to do more
-
Have you tried:
- UNPLUG USB (and battery must also be disconnected)
- Press "Upgrade and Erase"
- THEN plug in USB
Does this work? If not, what does it say?
-
I have fixed the problem by using cleanflight. Librepilot didnt help me! Thanks all for your messages.
