Title: Mixer blending with a switch
Post by: trust on January 14, 2018, 09:45:00 am
Is there a way to disable/enable mixer settings with a switch?
I need one set of mixers in one mode, and another with a different switch setting.
Thanks

This is not currently implemented in Fw but maybe you do similar behavior using two flight phases in your RC radio.

I can turn off various PID functions by setting PID=0 and using the switch to set the bank selects, but it doesn't change which axis are used by the mixers. I may be able to get by with just turning off unwanted modes with that for the time being.
In transitioning from vertical to horizontal flight, the stabilization modes need to change.

It's been suggested in the past that one might use Attitude mode for vertical hovering and Rate mode for horizontal flight.  The issue then would be that the pilot would need to use different transmitter sticks than normal (unless you remap the sticks in the transmittter) for one of the flight modes.
