Title: Surface pro USB driver?
Post by: Wingnutt on December 30, 2017, 11:21:20 pm
I have a little CC3D Atom and for some reason I cannot get it to work on libre pilot installed on my Surface pro 3 (Windows 10)

I have the same version installed on my Windows 10 PC and it works fine, it recognizes the controller and all is well.

It seems to be a driver issue with the surface pro, I.E. when I plug in the atom it shows up in windows  "unknown USB Device Device descriptor request failed"

I reinstalled libre pilot and that made no difference, and I cannot find a "usb driver" for the CC3D atom, though I have never needed one before in the first place..

any ideas?

Hi,

There is no need driver, especially with Win10 where the serial driver (generally not needed) you can install as option from librepilot-GCS installer is already builtin in Win10.

Try other USB cable and port maybe.
