Hello i am new to this forum so please pardon me! ;D
I have a HK DYS 250 with the CC3D flight controller board.
I have done the vehicle setup properly and i have flown my quad after the setup.
when i was flying i noticed that when i bank left my quad bank left + yaw left then when i bank right my quad bank right + yaw right
its doing it automatically and it doesn't feel normal even if it is controllable i want my quad to just bank when i command it to bank :)
when i yaw it does as it should it yaws perfectly, every thing else is fine.
my setup (i use basic mode):
Roll Pitch Yaw
Flight mode 1: Attitude Attitude Axis Lock (Bank 1 - Moderate) Proportional Roll: 10 Proportional Pitch: 10
Flight mode 2: Attitude Attitude Axis Lock (Bank 2 - Snappy) Proportional Roll: 10 Proportional Pitch: 10
Flight mode 3: Attitude Attitude Axis Lock (Bank 3 - More Snappy) Proportional Roll: 10 Proportional Pitch: 10
Mix level - all at 50
Other setup:
2200mah 20c Zippy
5x3 CCW and CW props
BL motors that came with the kit
20 amp esc that came with the kit
Thanks in advance!

Make sure your transmitter doesn't have yaw/rudder mixed into roll/aileron.
Turn transmitter on. Plug a flight battery into quad and also plug USB in. Start GCS and go to Input->RCInput page. Hold full roll on transmitter (it may take a second or two to respond on GCS) and watch to see the roll channel move. If the yaw input moves too it is an RC issue, not an FC issue.

Thanks for the fast response TheOtherCliff i will try your recommendations after work :P
as for the transmitter i use Fly sky i-6 here is the setup:
model used: airplane
mixing: none / I am sure mixing is disabled on my transmitter :)
i haven't checked the GCS GUI if it shows the yaw event when i bank so thanks for the info
i will check later and let you know!! :)

You might have FPV camera tilt angle set.
Stabilization -> Advanced -> CameraTiltAngle

Thanks Cliff! i will check this too when i go home
one thing i remember, the pirouette compensation was checked/enabled by default could this option cause this issue?
Thanks!

I recall seeing that 16.09 disables piro comp for auto leveling modes. If not for that, an out of balance quad would get roll/pitch from yaw; but your problem is the opposite. You get yaw from roll, not roll from yaw.

Thanks again Cliff noted on those advice :P

Hello Cliff i tried your recommendation last yesterday, i checked the transmitter response in the GCS UI and it responds as it should,
no yaw movement when i bank/roll.
i checked Stabilization -> Advanced -> CameraTiltAngle and it is set to 10
i set it to 0 and tried it i bank left and right and no more yaw on banking
Thanks for the help Cliff!!
