Post by: mauri64 on August 09, 2017, 08:20:13 am
salve a tutti, ho installato librepilot 16.09 su w10 quando collego la FC al pc sulla parte bassa viene riconosciuta la sparky, ma non la vedo attiva nella sezione Configuration > Hardware ,infatti compare la scritta "this panel will be updated the relevant controls to let you configure your device once it is connected and running" facendo il wizard a un certo punto mi dice time out, cosa ho tralasciato, grazie a tutti

(Tramite Google translate)

When you buy a new Sparky2.0 you must:
- update bootloader using the bootloader updater with the rescue procedure
- boot the controller with new bootloader updater and allowed it to run for a few seconds
- then "upgrade and erase" to flash normal firmware, using manual procedure

Follow directions carefully to: UNPLUG USB then press RESCUE then plug in USB
A few seconds later it will recognize the Sparky2 and give you more options
Then select and flash the bu_sparky2.opfw
Then reboot the Sparky2 and let it run for at least 10 seconds
Then use the "manual method" to "upgrade and erase"
Manual method described here:

the librepilot work on windows 10?

yes, no issue.

If the rescue method do not work, try DFU and windows script (choose 5 or 6 number when asked) :
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Recover+board+using+DFU

Next you will be able to update using the Manual method (remove SBL solder join !) :

Can be bad wiring or PPM change in hardware page that need a reboot.

Be sure the small solder join (only one, usually 5V) is set correctly to power the receiver, some PCB are populated with 10k resistors instead of 0 Ohm resistors.

Is a FS-R6B receiver ? If yes, this receiver do not output PPM signal, only 6ch PWM so you cannot use this one with Sparky2.

FS-iA6B receiver allow IBus and PPM output but i'm not sure is compatible with old FlySky generation radios.

Model N° FS-R6B do allow PPM output.
Where you see a pinout marking for PPM output ?

This refers to the transmitter FS-T6, not the receiver.
Like many transmitters there is a PPM output for simulator or external module.

Can the transmitter FS-T6 transmit with PPM receiver? Which kind ?

Looks like the receiver choice is limited and no compatible receivers with PPM output.

How can i connect the PWM receiver to sparky2.0?

Post by: f5soh on August 18, 2017, 02:27:48 pm
This is not possible.
Sparky2 only support all the 'serial' input protocols (Sbus, PPM, DSM, SRXL, Hott, iBus...), not multiples PWM inputs (and wires).
