Title: Is EagleTree Airspeed Microsensor V3 compatible with Revo?
Post by: jdl on June 01, 2017, 11:37:55 am
Just a brief question: I saw that in Settings | AirspeedSettings | AirspeedSensorType there is an option for
EagleTreeAirspeedV3.

So can someone confirm that this module:

works successfully with Revo? For my next build I'd like to use this sensor together with external mag on I2C bus.

In case you didn't realize ... airspeed sensors are really only useful with fixed wing aircraft where airspeed must be maintained in a range.  :)

I don't know if it has been tested with I2C mag at the same time on the same port.

Exactly, I need it for a fixed wing project. Revo autonomous flight features work satisfactory on my Wing Z-84 but the lack of real airspeed info is noticeable with higher speed winds so on my next Mini Talon build I plan to install a pitot tube sensor. Price difference vs analog ones is relatively small, that's why I'm looking for this precalibrated digital Eagletree airspeed sensor.
