Title: CC3D on Tricopter. Yaw servo travel half way. I need more Servo throw.
Post by: neons on April 11, 2017, 12:22:50 am
My Yaw control is not correct. It turns well one direction and not the other. This is the second servo. I tried a 3rd and the same thing. I cannot get any change trying a further endpoint on my Polks transmitter. Using a servo tester on the 3 newer servos they all travel normal. Connect it to my CC3D and it goes half way. I get an estimated 50 degrees to make the copter go right. Let the stick go and it centers where it should with the motor upright.. Try to turn left and I get maybe 1 degree. The copter has a problem staying smooth in a hover. Flies clockwise but no counter clockwise other than rolling it.

How do I manually get more throw so I can split the servo travel evenly. I ran my transmitter through the setups 2 times already. Works good with my other copters so it must be the board from what I estimate. Can you help please.
Thank You Guys.

I think I have it. I played around until I got into the Output Configuration. I started playing with the Yaw slider and my servo started to tilt. I set it neutral and I gained the servo angle to the side that was not getting it. I saved it and ran my transmitter and it worked. This changed my Arming from right to left now. I tried the servo reverse on the setup and it made no differences. I reversed it in the transmitter. . I was using the Yaw right to arm. I could not get it. I switched to arming Yaw Left. I flew the tricopter in 12 mph wind and it was no longer wobbling. It behaved very well. I hope this lasts now.
