Title: UBLOX neo-6M
Post by: Gplates on March 26, 2017, 10:46:52 pm
Hi, Im really sorry Im a massive noob just getting into the hobby. Im flying a Revolution and am currently trying to set up the GPS, Im using a ublox neo-6M which was dirt cheap on banggood. Ive plugged the GPS in and i know its wired correctly, but I am not getting a GPS input. When i go onto the system tab it says AutoConfigStatus: running- under GPSPositionSensor. I have no idea how this works any help would be much appreciated.

If the Data > GPSPositionSensor > AutoConfigStatus still at "Running" state you can expect no response from Ublox GPS.

Be sure the GPS is powered and wired correctly.
Tx pin from board's port go to the Rx pin on GPS module.

Connect the GPS to a FTDI Adapter and use the ucenter Software to monitor the packets.  And buy a female JST-4 micro pigtail to build a adapter cable.
