Hi
my first post and I am a noobie to quads.
I have nearly finished my Robocat 270 (two flty esc's delaying completion) and I am trying to get prepared for adjusting pid's on the fly. I want to use the knob on my xm (labled aux3).
On xm I have altered in switch select to be aux1, and in gcs config/input tab have allowed channel 6 as PWM and to accessory 0.
When I do transmitter setup wizard I get no response on accessory 0 when I turn the knob!!
What am I missing ????

Hi,
Are you using the PWM so all wires (one wire per channel input) connected to Receiver ?
Be sure you setup your radio as needed, put a servo on receiver output to test or monitor output in your radio.
Redo transmitter wizard

Hi,

Yes to above and xm monitor shows aux1 responding to knob !!
-
If there is receiver output change and something connected on it (input wire), transmitter wizard should detect automatically when it ask you to move the accessory0.
-
It does not detect any input.
I have tested receiver with servos and all channels work including CH5 as three position flight mode and CH6 as variable controlled by knob.
I have also checked continuity of the wire for CH 6 connection into cc3d.
I must be missing something in setups of the cc3d.

when you follow Tx wizard the last channel (Aux/accessory0) is not detected ?
throttle, Pitch/Roll/Yaw/flightmode are ok ?

Please post your config file:
File > export Uav settings

Thanks f5soh I have located my problem to be a bent pin on the cc3d receiver input socket resulting in no channel 6 input.
All works OK now.
