Flight Controller: CC3D Clone
LibrePilot version: Rhino
Frame: Some really old Yamaha? Car Frame (had a combustion engine in old times)
Motor: EMax 2213 935kv (normally build for copters but hey got a really good acceleration  ;D )
Tires: Stolen from a LEGO Offroad Car
Battery: Turnigy 3S 2200mAh
Rx: HiTec (AM)
Tx: HiTec AM40.875MHZ :-)
FPV: Rasperry Pi with Pi Cam and WIFI Dongle, 1280x720px, 110ms delay
Specials: LEGO tires are the best ;-) , combustion clutch works also great for electric motors, CC3D dont like too much snow :-), RIP little friend, drinking straws are very good for long antennas

Nice!
I am interested in the antenna on your car. You say its long. It's for 875 Mhz, Is it a full wave length or what?
If you do FPV on the ground, are you oaky with the range you get before failsafe?
I also like to take old parts and put them in to some new good use :)

No should be 40mhz with Amplitude Modulation. And antenna is more than a meter long...so maybe its  a quarter wavelength long...i dont tested range for this tx but wifi range for this pi is about 150m without obstacles(you can get more if you dont use it in the EU and switch to 2.4ghz)...its enough for driving around ;-)

Oh yes now I see its 40 Mhz.
That should carry a long way even at surface use.
