Title: Altitude hold with fixed wing
Post by: Pertti on January 23, 2017, 04:00:07 pm
Hi!
Revo has a barometer, which works fine with drones (altitude hold). I'm going to buid a lightweight fixed wing (250g) that is capable of maintainig flight altitude and possibly direction. GPS is not necessary.
How to use barometer to control elevator? The throttle should be adjusted to give enough power to keep the plane level, but not more.

Fixed wing do not support the Altitude* modes in a direct way.

You can find a warning about that in the Input > FlightMode tab.
