Title: SOLVED Stab alarm blinks on Revo
Post by: anthropo on January 06, 2017, 08:54:07 am
Hello,

I have bought a new revolution board. After setting it, (all but magnetometers) the stab shows (https://opwiki.readthedocs.io/en/latest/_images/stab-err.png) then (https://opwiki.readthedocs.io/en/latest/_images/stab-ok.png) and so on.
I don't understand why, i calibrated the gyros several times.

Is it (again) a defecive card ?

What kind of mag are you using?  Disconnect if it is I2C mag and see if problem goes away.

Are you using Basic or INS13?  Is this (both FC and GCS) running LP 16.09?

What is different about your setup from a stock beginner setup set from the wizard?

What else is red in System Health?  What does hovering over error in System Health say in "tooltip"?

Thank you.

I am using i2c mag (M8N GPS). I have restarted from scratch and the alarm has gone. Running 16.09 on FC and GCS

But now when i try to calibrate mag, it always ends with a red error. asking to restart calibration. I2c is green, But in 'mag status' it is written invalid source. I don't understand.
