Title: New to the CC3D, Bluetooth help needed
Post by: Muxxy on August 03, 2016, 03:29:18 am
Hello All,

I have been envisioning a project where I could control a CC3D (and the quad copter attached to it) using a Bluetooth connection to my PC or Mac. I would write that software that could display information and give me the ability to control motions with certain key presses. I am not quite sure if this is possible but I am hoping.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

generally speaking: this is possible. However, I woud never trust a bluetooth connection to control a multicopter.
Why not use OPLink (https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/OPLink+Configuration)? GCS can control a UAV with a Joystick (https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Control+vehicle+using+joystick) via OPLink.

Regards,
Marc

Would that allow me to control the multicopter with my computer?

If you looked at the joystick link he posted you'd know.
