Title: Spidex 220 LibrePilot settings
Post by: Jas on July 25, 2016, 05:39:52 pm
Can anyone recommend what preset to use or settings for a spidex 220 ?   I have it all working test flight is fine , some minor oscillations & yaw rate is pretty slow ,.. I'd like to setup a gentle mode , intermediate & advanced ,...  I also have 4 qav 210 frames I plan to build ,..any presets or settings I should use for those ?    So far for my first time using Libre Pilot ,.. the software & firmware are great !

Any of the (qav 250/blackout 250/mxp230/HK 260 race, or Emax 250-280) will be fine. I have tried them all. They all work well for 180-280mm quads. If it oscillates a lot turn down your P for roll and pitch and see if that helps.

If your just starting out flying in attitude mode then adjust your "Bank angle" for 3 flight modes a little higher for each one. Like 45 degrees on one. Then 75 deg on 2 and so on.

gotcha , thanks :)  I cant remember which one I chose , but it seems pretty good ,..Does anyone use cruise control ?  ...seems like coordinated turns would be smoother if it does a good job..
