Title: OSD + Bluetooth at the same time
Post by: Badwolf3000 on May 25, 2016, 03:10:53 pm
Hi, Does anyone know how to use an OSD and a bluetooth module simultaneously on a CC3D using librepilot? I have tried using telemetry on flexiport, whilst using combridge on main port, and the other way around, but either way, only one or the other device will function, not both, I want to have an OSD for my FPV, but retain the ability to wirelessly use librepilot.

I have a CC3D EVOM, a HC06 Bluetooth adapter, and a Minimosd (at328p isp)

Thanks.

Hi
There is no way of having several uavtalk telemetry streams active at once on the CC3D. There are other OSD protocols (MSP protocol supported by MW and Scarab i think) being implemented and tested for the upcoming release of LibrePilot that would solve this issue though.

I haven't tried, but you might be able to get away with wiring the OSD and BT in parallel (maybe leave the TX line disconnected on the OSD or BT) and connect them to the same port.

nitromethane, you just might be a genius, I am ashamed for not trying that myself, the OSD does not need to tx anyway in theory. I will give that a shot now and report back.

What about over the OPLM link?  I can get the link but that's all I can see.
