Title: Trouble shooting REVO
Post by: sherm6178 on May 11, 2016, 06:05:08 pm
could really use a little help if possible. I had this revo flashed with raceflight installed in my qav180 not in case. Went to tighten down wiring and when I plugged it back  in this is all it does. Won't connect to any gcs unless in dfu mode. I can flash bootloaders both rf and lp/op. On op/lp firmware it just sets and never ending boot loop and this is rf bl installed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. https://vimeo.com/166161396 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?p=34742356

If it's not a hardware problem then the instructions and firmware in this thread https://forum.librepilot.org/index.php?topic=208.0 should bring it back up in LP.   The resurrection firmware is necessary because other firmware formats data areas differently.  It reformats the data areas.

Normally I'd expect if it ran well enough to load firmware through DFU it should be good enough to boot up so I really don't have any suggestions.  If the resurrection firmware doesn't get it running there probably is some hardware problem but I don't know what.

The full schematics of the revo are in the repository at https://bitbucket.org/librepilot/librepilot/src/a71fb62395fd40e7f5693ac5ea0d78c706ec73af/hardware/Production/OpenPilot%20Revolution/?at=next (https://bitbucket.org/librepilot/librepilot/src/a71fb62395fd40e7f5693ac5ea0d78c706ec73af/hardware/Production/OpenPilot%20Revolution/?at=next)  maybe that will help.
