Title: GCS on Tablet
Post by: jochene on September 29, 2015, 09:41:47 pm
Hi,
today I the GCS installed on a 10 " tablet with Windows 8.1. There, the surface is not to use. Since there are no scroll bars, all adjustment parameters are displayed very very small. Some beams overlap even.
A tablet is on the airfield in my opinion better than a big laptop.
Will it perhaps time for an adjustment of the GCS give?

Thanks

Jochen

Can you post a couple of screenshots where you see big issues with display ?

Hi jochene,
i also use an Asus T100TA on the field. as far as i can tell the only real issue is with map.
everything else is useable without any issue.
It is not touch optimized so something it is not easy to do, but it works.
What are the specific issues you are seeing? Can you post some detailed screenshot as suggested by Laurent?

Try attached file,  replace current file in :
C:\Program Files\LibrePilot\share\librepilot-gcs\stylesheets

Slider button should be better for your fingers.

Font used look ugly, check default system font ?

Thanks , looks a little bit better.
It would also be possible to change the appearance so that , for example, All parameters are very large with each other and the left and right respectively a large area with one " + " and on the other side with " - " stands .

Is that difficult ?
Could I try myself to make such a thing?

If you can display some virtual keyboard, after "selected" the slider button maybe you can move using keyboard arrows.
