Whats the best way to figure out how many satellites you are locked onto as well as other pertinent GPS data without a laptop/OPLINK or FPV/OSD? Sometimes I will just wanna go fly quickly without having to haul everything out, laptop, FPV screen, etc. But I think with GPS, some of that data is very important. Is there anyway to get that data to show on my Devo10 transmitter? Or maybe a little LCD screen that mounts to the quad to give you data before you arm it? Can the WS281X LED output the numbers of sats? Probably don't need to see it the whole time I'm flying as long as I can view it before I arm? Just looking for ideas so I can start to collect all the parts that are going to be needed for this.

Ws28xx led can display GPS status, look here:
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Setup+WS281x+Led
Before collecting parts you should contribute to code and add LCD or Devo10 telemetry support.
You're welcome :)
Please, "Revolution" do not exist. There is CC3D boards and Revolution boards.

I know this is an old thread but it seems spot on, so:
Can I set up a WS2811LED using a Revolution Nano board?
(using output pins 1-6 obviously since don't have other options like full Revo board).
Thanks a lot

WS2811LED works only using the servo1 output with RevoNano.

Good enough.
Thanks a lot!

WS2811LED works only using the servo1 output with RevoNano.
Added this to WS2811 wiki.

Thanks, that will help next guy trying.
I think these status LEDs are very helpful.
I noticed a small typo... but don't know how to fix it.
oardRevolution board supports external leds, up to 10 ...

For my RevoNano board I could not get the led to work until I used the file here:
https://forum.librepilot.org/index.php?topic=3891.msg26496#msg26496
But I feel confused as to what Next version to use to avoid the mismatch warning... (LP-544???)
Any tips here warmly welcome :)

RevoNano works fine here with WS28xx led connected to the servo #1 output, using latest next branch.
You do not need to flash a 4 months old firmware.

Thanks for checking.
I am back to a more recent next and it does work, however a bit intermittently, I think I have an issue with the power supply. It is alive so I am in good hopes.
