for various reasons but mostly just to know if the Revolution board(clone) could do something. My question is. Is there a way to set my board to have a max altitude using the onboard baro? So lets say there is a course - I want to attempt to fly it and adjust my FF speed but I want it to hold it's altitude. I'm kinda new to all of this, so if I am not looking at this right then please let me know! Thanks in advance for the help!

You have two options: Altitude hold and Altitude vario.
For details look here https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Altitude+Hold
For this to work, you need to
- Have baro covered with foam of right thickness and board in case to protect from light (baro is light sensitive) and wind from props also changes pressure
- Have done temperature calibration
- Have tuned Stabilization > Altitude Hold PIDs. These are different from stabilization PIDs, and are used to maintain altitude.
- Your baro has reasonable noise level (+-0.5m you can check in Scopes wiki says how), board is of good quality and it has correct barometer http://www.meas-spec.com/product/pressure/MS5611-01BA03.aspx
