Title: How to create default settings?
Post by: delormeloic on April 18, 2016, 02:05:54 pm
Hi,

I am a newbie into the quadcopters world and when I have configured my CC3D, I have to choose a default settings for it. However, none of them corresponding to my set up. So, I would like to know if it is possible to create a default setting. Are there any banks which identify configurations ? Are there any websites to create configuration according to specific components?

Thanks in advance,

DELORME Loïc

In the wizard pick something that seems closest to your size/weight. -No- two aircraft fly the same. -All- require further tuning for best results. The defaults samples are meant to be enough to get you off the ground on the first try, and hopefully back down in one piece. :)

If you need more reassurance one think you can do is describe your aircraft, manufacturer, model, size, weight, motors, props, battery, -and- post a screen capture of your Stabilisation screen. If anything looks particularly odd or out of bounds someone more experienced will probably say so.

Another idea is to find someone else local to you with much more experience to review the setup and do a first flight.
