Title: Unable to boot.

I know this probably has been asked before, but I couldn't find a resolution.  I recently received a Revo from a friend who no longer wanted it.  He was running Raceflight on it.  He told me to just run Rescue or Upgrade and Erase.  I have tried both and my computer won't even recognize it.  If i get on Raceflight it does recognize the FC.  GCS still won't.  Could someone please lend a helping hand or point me in the right direction?  i have been wrestling with this for 2 days now.  I do have the SBL shorted.

Don't use SBL shorted if you try rescue using GCS.
