Title: Flightcontroller not recognized by GCSC
Post by: miro23 on February 08, 2016, 09:55:03 am
Beeing Newbe I do not succeed in connecting my CC3D flightcontroller to my computer.
So I cannot check my bootloader version.
I cannot enter Boot Mode with the Halt option.
Also the rescue option does not work.

My system is 64 bits Windows 7, I see OpenPilot is for Win 32bits  , can this be a problem?
Led behavior; green on
blue fading in and out

Please inform me what can I do further?

Blue fading In and Out means you need to flash the firmware, bootloader is alone.

What appends if you follow this steps (check bootloader) :
- Disconnect board
- Hit Rescue button
- Connect board

Same can be done for firmware flashing:
- Disconnect board
- Hit Upgrade&Erase button
- Connect board

Impossible to connect to the board.
All the things you mention I did several times.

The firmware also becomes not visible in the firmware window.

Hit button prior to connect board ?
Without firmware running this is the only way to flash bootloader or firmware.

If you connect first the board before hit the button, it can't work.
If the blue blinking is fading in/out the bootloader is ok, but no firmware onboard.
