Hi,
this is a continuation of an interesting sub topic from the thread, GPS assist and Heli (https://forum.librepilot.org/index.php?topic=3999.msg27715#msg27715)
As far as I understand, If you have a working telemetry data link, you can get RC control, without adding a separate PPM stream (dedicate another port) on the reciever side (airborn side).
I am really interesed in getting this to work properly. However it works, it suffers disconnects some 4 times every 10 seconds and reconnects again, that creates failsafe mode every time. I would be very glad to get some help sorting out where the problem lies.

This is my set up producing the result in the picture.
Ground side: An OPLM unit that gets PPM controls from my transmitter via the trainer port.
Heli side: Another OPLM unit that receives and sends telemetry and connects only via Mainport to a Revo Nano board (mainport set for Telemetry).
We see the graph from the transmitting OPLM.

Did you try another OPLM ?
I cannot reproduce your issue here so there is difficult to fix.
How is powered the OPLM in both sides ?
Can be the digital servos adding noise to the voltage source ?
Just ideas...

Thanks,
After trying another OPLM that worked fine I tried the old one again, and today I can not reproduce the error, even if I try my hardest.
Maybe a ghost walked by my gear...
Or I will be back later.
For now, no issue if using a Nano and 2 OPLM units.
