Title: One shot set up
Post by: trike_flyer on June 18, 2017, 06:15:19 am
Hello

Just got my atom set on my s500 quad and it would not allow one shot in the wizard.  Is this normal?  I am running kiss 30a esc's that can do one shot.  When I set the output I picked pwm since I did not know if the kiss esc can use 460 or what ever it was for the faster one.  It wobbles a bit at hover when it flies but is stable enough to not flip over or do any odd actions.  I am wondering if there is a way to switch to one shot for the output without the wizard and will it make a difference?  There is also the possibility that one of the props is out of balance since I just bolted them on without checking balance.

thanks for the help.

TF

PS: forgot to note the atom is mounted by double sided tape only to the frame.

Hi,

Using a Atom/CC3D, if you use PWM as Input you cannot use OneShot as Output. Thats a technical limitation due to timers / F1 Cpu
If you really need OneShot output you may use PPM or other "one wire" Input types like Sbus.

Be sure the update rate is set to 490Hz in Configuration > Output tab
