Title: Micro MinimOSD setup failure
Post by: HighAltitude on October 13, 2016, 05:12:05 pm
I've hit a wall in trying to set up my Micro Minim OSD.
I got my board and FTDI adapter from RTF Quads.  It's a Micro Minim OSD with KV Team mods
I connected it in accordance with the diagram on the Min OPOSD page of the Librepilot documentation, downloaded the Config tool and character set, and have followed the instructions.
When I try to update the character set, I get an error message "Error entering font mode - No Data".
When I try to update the firmware, I get an error message "Failed to talk to bootloader" and "upload failed, lost synch, try using Arduino to upload instead" and "failed to download data".
When I connect the FTDI adapter to my computer's USB port and the adapter to the Micro board, I get a red LED on the adapter and a blue and tiny green LED on the board.
Suggestions?

Switch your rx and tx lines and try again

It worked!
Thanks for the advice.
Now all I have to do is get my DX-9 and Librepilot to agree on how to talk to each other about Flight Modes.............
