Title: V-tail quadcopter
Post by: jclassic1 on March 09, 2016, 02:54:10 pm
I have a cc3d atom flight control box and would like to know if I can use it on my V-tail mini quadcopter.
I cannot see a V-tail listed in the models.
Will it work if I use the x quadcopter settings.

Thanks

John

Hi,

Vtail is not supported directly, you can use the custom tab and define mixers like that:

This first solution remove Yaw behavior in Two front motors and Roll behavior is the two rear motors.

Second solution, the same numbers are not set to zero but half value.

Never used here, just try.

Thanks for replying,
I am very new to this type of thing so everything is a little confusing but I will give it a try and see what happens.
On my KK2.1.5 board I have Stevies 1.18 pro software which has a vtail option but that is being used on my other quadcopter.

Thanks

John
