Looking at board diagrams it has 4 port connections and instructions call for adapter. Where do you find adapter?

Not sure you can find spektrum adapters but you build your own or use 3.3v from board.

So in other words by the time you get all the parts to build your adapter you should just use a ppm rx or a normal rx instead of trying to use the sat. i would have thought that there would be support for a sat like on the older cc3d.

All boards support DSM, you just need 3.3v. Can be directly from board.

A note to pass along for others reading this thread. We should have Sparky2 support in the coming release and it has a jumper on board to power the RC receiver from either input voltage (usually 5v or 6v from ESC's) or from 3.3v regulator on Sparky2.
