Hello. My current cc3d board has openpilot 15.02. Heard about Librepilot just recently. How do I erase openpilot off my FC and upgrade to Librepilot? I've never had to erase and put a new program on before, I've always just flashed it and that was it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Launch LibrePilot GCS, connect your Flight Controller. The GCS will tell you that the FirmWare is outdated and that you need to upgrade. Click Upgrade. Presto!

That simple huh? I was worried I had to do more. Thanks so much!

You have to go to firmware tab and press Erase&Upgrade. This asks currently flashed firmware to erase all settings stored on external flash chip. This is important, as new firmware may get confused by old settings if you don't clear them.

Rather than go through the vehicle wizard again, is it safe to...
File - Export *.uav
erase/upgrade
File - Import *.uav
and Save?

You should not do that when changing from Openpilot to Librepilot. Best is, make screenshots of the important settings like pids, go through Upgrade&Erase, through both wizards and finally add the additional settings manually.
