Look like you miss some step.

Check if binary is present on this path:
C:\Dir_where_you_install_msys\mingw32\bin

Redo install from scratch, i don't understand why there is two paths in your screenshot.

Console error is text, you can do copy paste instead of take a picture...

Your home directory name has a space or non-ascii character in it, that's not allowed in unix/msys.

It looks like it's "C:/msys64/home/Salvatore razza/".  Rename it to something without a space. "C:/msys64/home/Salvatore/" maybe?

OK, i managed to complete the windows build yesterday and created LibrePilot-15.09+r552-gd3f150f_x86_64.exe
It also installs ok, however when starting up libre pilot the app states it is missing libgraphite2.dll. I fixed this as i found a copy in the source files and placed it in system32 and was able to continue,
But alas the program then states it cannot load PfdQml.dll as a module it depend on is missing and i do not know which module.
Fortunately Libre pilot still continues to load and is usable without it.

These issues may be a problem wiith missed dependencies when constructing the package, but i don't know for sure.
Any how i have been able to use this build on my quad and successfully got my external mag and GPS to work and managed to fly with GPS assist and position hold which i have been trying to achieve for ages  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Some more changes for the feature PfdQml.dll is related to were merged in today.  I don't know yet if any of them fix your problem but I'm compiling a copy of the current next on windows as I type.  I'll post here again either way to let you know.  If today's changes don't fix it I'll let the person working on it know.

And congratulations on getting the GPS modes working :)

Congrats for GPS ;)

Build works fine here.

Update sources with a "git pull", we have now "r594"

Be sure you apply the recent changes from Wiki page:
https://librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Windows+Building+and+Packaging

Add librepilot mingw repo

Update you Msys env:
Code: [Select]
update-core
pacman -Su

Install updated package list using pacman...

It runs from the build environment but not if installed.   I've left a note for the developer.

I almost never install it, you can run it from the build environment by typing:

build/librepilot-gcs_release/bin/librepilot-gcs.exe

-Hank

Ok just built R594 and i'm still getting the PfdQml.dll problem even running build/librepilot-gcs_release/bin/librepilot-gcs.

The program can't start because libgraphite2.dll is missing from you computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Seems the Msys is not up to date .

Code: [Select]
update-core
pacman -Su

Be sure you use the 32 or 64 shell, not MSYS shell:

Good evening,
I find this:

https://sourceforge.net/p/msys2/tickets/256/

Apparently ca be 5 pacman version that longer supports the command "update-core".
I tested two other pc with 32bit version too. It's the same.
When updates I see that it can not recover everything. Some do not download.
If I find a solution I will post;)

I test:

Yes, update core is built into pacman now. So all you need to do is `pacman -Syuu` if that does update some core components it will ask you to close the terminal and do it again

Ok, I try several installation tutorial, try on 3 different PCs (2 in 1 W7 and W10).
Pacman tells me that everything is up to date.
During compilation, he always tells me the same error messages:

I still have the missing libhogweed-4-1.dll.

someone tried to remake a recent installation?
It may be that a packet is outdated or no longer download or missing dll.

Should be fixed soon, we start to use automated builds.

Remember this is a Opensource project, you should not always wait fixes :)

It's been posted in the forum several times over the last few days, building on Windows is temporarily broken.

If you want to do development you could switch to Linux, it always compiles and runs since most developers use it.  OS-X also usually compiles.  Compiling on Windows is occasionally broken for a few days to a week or so because no developer uses it routinely.   It exists primarily to generate Windows binaries for release.

If you're going to use Windows as your primary development environment figure out why it doesn't compile and submit a fix.

(I removed your duplicate post at the end of a 5 month old thread)

Hi guys, the fix is to find the copydata file that has that line in it and update it to libhogweed-4-2.dll. Feel free to submit a PR for it too. (Although, it is my plan to rework this so we don't need hardcoded names like this, hopefully this weekend but no guarantees)

Good evening,
It's good for me.

Tonight I uninstall everything (msys) and reinstall and it works;)

Thank you to the team.

Has anyone been able to build succesfully in the past weeks on windows?
My las succesful build was r799 in early june, since then, no luck.

@NightLord I think Windows build might be broken at the moment because of extra dependencies such as osg recently introduced to support a couple of new features

It's been posted in the forum several times over the last few days, building on Windows is temporarily broken.

Usually problems like missing dependencies are self reported by build system, so easy to fix by yourself, but if you encounter something like patch not applying, or some more severe error, post it here.
I am not Windows user, but many people around who actually can build might have solved the problem already. Also sometimes Linux users can have a clue what is wrong. Alternatively build on GNU/Linux VM, unless you actually want to figure it out and fix the problem.

I build r1212 (autotune fork from Cliff) and Next about a week ago. No problem on Windows 10 (x64).
