Hi I have built one cheap 250 clone over a year ago ,..I used open pilot & one of the presets in the cloud settings ,..I have a bunch of cc3d fc's & frames I want build this year ,..I forget most of how to build ,..so Im learning all over again ,..I want to build a few qav210 & zmr 250 clones this year ,..What are the best cloud settings to use ? I will be using these as mini camera ships & camera chase , I only need them to be stable , smooth & docile ,..i will be adding fpv to some ,..the qav 210 is a bit smaller , Im not sure what cloud settings to start with ,..& is Libre pilot pretty much the same to use as openpilot was ,..What is different that I should know ? I still consider myself new I was able to fumble through my first one & got it to fly pretty good ,..but now Im going to be learning everything again ,.. Also I have heard some say that Libre firmware flys better,..:)

Hi
Yes , librepilot is very good , also very similar to the old openpilot as far as the GCS goes so you should have no problems.
I use "hobby king race fpv260" for anything 250 to 180 that I have. Have started tuning pids a bit , but quads fly well on those settings (for me).
Upgrade and erase will have to happen if you've had open pilot in use , but I'm not really your guide on the tech side !
Best wishes.

Libre Pilot firmware is a lot better than the last OP release. The next one will be even better.(hopefully late summer/early fall, from what I've heard)
I agree, any of the 250 templates will fly fine for a 210. I've tried the qav250, blackout 250, HK260, emax250(280), mxp230, even the toad250. They All fly a 210-250 X or H good enough for a starting point.
