Problem with transmitter setup.
« on: May 15, 2017, 08:32:20 am »
Tx: Taranis X7
Hardware: cc3d + V8R7-II

At the transmitter setup, where it asks me to select my flight mode, i've been having problem with the librepolit software properly recognizing switch strokes.

For example if I choose a flip switch(2 possible ... outcomes? Sorry I'm new, I don't know what to call it), the software recognize that I can do 3 flight modes.

And if I choose a switch that has 3 positions, the software virtual animation sometimes goes haywire, and recognize 5 flight modes.

Is it because I'm not using it properly or is there something wrong?

Help is greatly appreciated.

As long as you have followed the directions and moved the switch through all positions when asked, and left it as close to the middle as possible when asked, then if it gets the number of positions incorrectly, it can be easily fixed.

Input -> Flight Mode Switch Settings -> Flight Mode Count
(and press Save)

After that, I would verify that it gets the count and positions correctly in
Input -> Remote Control Input -> FlightMode
This shows the live switch position if you have both USB and flight battery plugged in (and transmitter switched on), but it takes a second or two to update.
