Title: WS2812 LED Sparky 2
Post by: mookie on October 08, 2016, 09:41:22 pm
I'm flying a HEXA and would like to use the LED Port for WS2812 LED Strip. I have made a board to invert the PWM Signal from the LED Port, but there are no options to set CH 7-10, is this something that might be given some thought at a later date by the DEVS?

Thanks Malc

Indeed WS2812 leds are only supported using out1 > out6 servo outputs

You should move the 5-6 motors to the Led port and you can use the normal 5&6 servo outputs for WS2812 led.

Hi Mookie,
I'm thinking of doing something similar but would also need to make the board to invert the PWM Signal from the LED Port.
Can you help explain on how to make one for the Sparky 2.0.

Thanks.

Does your Sparky2 board have SWD connector? With small modification to the firmware, ws2811 could be connected there (if you are not using it for actual debugging of course).
