Title: how to configure host and port

trying to update my cc3d, firmware tab does not show a port , message ' configure host and port ' , what has happened ?

I guess you are running Windows?  What version?

First thing I would do is uninstall all previous OpenPilot and LibrePilot software AND drivers (I am guessing it is a driver issue), then reboot, then reinstall the version you want to use.

You're trying to connect via UDP (intended for simulators) instead of USB.   If USB doesn't show up in the connections popup you may have a bad USB cable, bad usb port on the computer, bad firmware on the cc3d, or driver problems.

The easiest thing to try first is a different USB cable on a different port.
