Camera gimbal not working
« on: July 05, 2016, 01:27:32 am »
I am trying to set up the camera stabilization on my Revo board and it's not working. I followed all of the instructions posted by Painless 360, but no joy. The servo does creep a little when I power the board, and that's it. Any ideas?

Hi, welcome.

Post your config file. File > Export UAV settings

Please note CC3D and Revolution boards are two different boards.
"Revolution" refers to a Chinese marketing name.

I vaguely recall that it must be armed to actually stabilize the gimbal.  I may be wrong.

There a few things missing:

- Enable Gimbal module: go to Camstab tab, enable and power cycle.
- Define outputs, go to the vehicle tab and define each motor outputs or output module show a error (Red)
- Put some receiver channels as input or the INPUT module show a red alarm.

File attached is a working config from yours, should need to load a first time, reboot and load again.

The Gimbal works all time, no need to be armed.
