Where is the map, what is the problem
GoogleMapDefault working properly
-
I had the same problem under Windows 10, did not update the map, even if you refresh you will see the load bar at the lower right, but then a grey box. I change to Linux and I am a happy camper now.
-
Google changed some settings.
Try BingSat or BingHybrid as MapType
-
I do not have Linux. (Win7)
BigSat & Bing Hybrid is the same as googlesat
Thanks
never mind

You might try starting gcs with the -reset parameter that clears all user settings. It wipes out all user settings and sets them to the current defaults. I have problems like yours when I switch from release to the next branch and I see you're running next.
instead of librepilot-gcs or whatever that you use to start it, do librepilot-gcs -reset
it may or may not help but it is necessary sometimes when running next.
-
Ιn the first edition 15.09 worked sometimes, in the next never.
"librepilot-gcs -reset" tried it but nothing, the same does not work
waiting for correction
Thanks

No issue here using Next

Same here, I'm running the same version of next as both screen captures show and it works fine.
Any chance there's a firewall or something like that between you and the Internet that's blocking access to the maps?

Windows 7
GoogleEarth
GoogleEarth Pro
and in all web browsers SatMap is ok
GCS => GoogleSat and any SatMap= gray background
I think something is not right in GCS
Thanks

Rather than my Mac, I installed on a Windows 7 machine and I'm still having problems. Copying the libjpeg-8.dll did not work for me.
I've played around with setting GoogleMaps and GoogleSat. I've also toggled the Open GL check box. Any other tips?
Thanks
-
If you are running 15.09 release the libjpeg do not help.
Switch to Bing maps, google maps are broken @15.09

Have you zoomed in enough?
The above fix. solved my problem. But I had to zoom in way more than I thought needed.
And on my comp. It takes time to let the map show..

I zoomed in and waited. Unfortunately, I just get a gray background.
