You should do some power slides in sand/gravel "with" and "without". I bet you can get some good drifts going with stabilization to help you. :)

Trying to figure out what is happening here in the video.
The steering is always pointing the car back to a certain direction?
-
The steering try to maintain the heading.
That is done using the Yaw stabilization and useful for clean trajectories

Hi Have a CC3D atom laying around that I want to do something with.
I do RC drifting with RWD cars specifically desined for drifting, they also uses gyro's to keep the drift under control, so I thought of putting the FC in my drift car and test it compared to a proper drift gyro.
Might do that just for the heck of it this weekend.

Did you have any trouble getting it to arm (or stay armed) with only a two channel?
-
With a 2ch radio the arming is a little tricky but done easily with some timing.
I used Yaw right, the arming is done with Throttle at -1 (reverse throttle) so when the car go backwards... it's armed.
Arming can be set also to 'always armed', be sure the vehicle do not move after you plug battery during Gyro init.
